Licensing

I, Lane Cuthbert, am a licensed life insurance agent in the Province of British Columbia. Additionally, I hold the distinction of being an ordained minister and legal representative authorized by the Province of British Columbia to officiate marriages. As part of this role, I conduct a limited number of wedding ceremonies annually.

Companies I Represent

I currently maintain broker contracts with the following reputable companies: Manulife Financial, Empire Life, Equitable Life, Canada Life, Canada Protection Plan, Humania (Hugo), Desjardins, Sunlife, Ivari, RBC, SLi, BMO, SSQ, iA Assurance, myHSA, Manulife Bank, and ISI.

Relationship with the Companies I Represent

No insurance company holds any ownership stake in my business, nor do I possess any vested interest in any insurance company.

Compensation

Upon the purchase of a financial product through my services, I receive a sales commission from the issuing company. However, I prioritize sound financial strategy over mere product sales as the cornerstone of achieving financial success. I do charge a fee for strategy design work, with the provision of a discounted fee should you choose to proceed with implementing strategies and products under my guidance.

Additionally, I may receive renewal or service commissions should you retain your financial products over an extended period. There is also the possibility of additional compensation, such as bonuses or non-monetary benefits like travel incentives, based on various factors including the volume or consistency of business generated over specific periods. While I do receive commissions from insurance companies, please rest assured that no insurance company holds any stake in my business. Your financial objectives remain my paramount concern.
